The effects of this disease are really serious. Many people get used to drink alcohol , and they can easily abuse; that is the problem. The purpose of this essay is to discuss the physical, psychological, and economic effects of alcoholism. the effects of alcoholism which are physical, psychological, and economic can cause many problems that affect your life in all aspects. Alcohol alters your brain, muscles, digestion process, and other disorders that affect your health. It also can cause you depression or changes in your behavior that result in problems with your family, friends, and with yourself.
Besides, it will leave you in poverty because it cost a lot. Social problems have been a part of society for thousands of years. Some have vanished over time while others have uprooted to accommodate with the changing times of the world. Different countries share similar social problems as well as different ones. All countries have tried to find solutions for these problems such as the United States, Britain, Uganda, and China. The United States has a lot of social problems. Since there is a lot of land, a vast majority of different cultures have settled here.
As a result of all these different cultures colliding, social problems are common. Poverty is one of these problems. In order to deal with this, the United States government has created Welfare Programs. These programs give poor families money to get food, shelter, etc. Food stamps are issued, insurance is provided to the unemployed, and Head Start schools are provided for children. One of the major social and economic issues in our society is increase in divorce rate. Divorce, or dissolution of marriage means the marriage ending.
It can be contrasted with an annulment which declares that a marriage is invalid, though the marriage effects may be recognized in such unions as spousal support, child custody and property distribution (“Divorce. ”). Divorce is like an epidemic in our society that is spreading very quick, and the offspring are most affected in this epidemic (Chandler). According to facts one out of every two marriages ends in divorce (Chandler). It is very bad because many children are raised in single-parent families, and this has a negative impact on their development.
Nearly 50,000 people, including 30,000 children, die each day due to poverty-related problems and preventable disease in underdeveloped Countries. That doesn’t include the other millions of people who are infected with AIDS and other incurable diseases. Especially those living in Sub-Saharan Africa (70%), or “the Third-World,” and while we fight to finish our homework, children in Africa fight to survive without food, or clean water Considering the number of people that die each day due to starvation, it should be pretty obvious that a major problem in under developing countries is food consumption.
It is the main reason for the deaths, It is the main reason for the despair. Disease is just a little concern compared to the losses from starvation and malnutrition. Habitual self-indulgence is at odds with the idea of social control. The man who resents interference with his diversions and pleasures is disposed to defy law, and if he feels that society is not treating him properly he is liable to become a lawbreaker. This is one of the reasons for the prevalence of crime in our society today, which on the whole increases rather than diminishes, and is a factor of disturbance in city life.
There are several negative impacts of crime upon an area. They include; * Depopulation, particularly in urban areas * High levels of crime may damage community spirit and result in less neighbourliness. People may simply want to ‘keep themselves to themselves’ for fear of harassment * High crime levels can contribute to environmental poverty * Once a region with a high level of crime is labelling as a bad area, it might become a ghetto
