Membership in MEPI provides
- Opportunities for association with other Montessori professionals at periodic workshops, seminars and conferences at reduced fees.
- Opportunities to serve on one of MEPI's committees, or its Board of Directors , and thus help shape the exciting future of the organization and the Montessori world!
- Member's only access to MEPI online resources and special communications which share ideals and experiences of professionals associated with the Montessori community.
- Opportunities to obtain advice and support for attaining high standards in the performance of schools and individual educators.
- A directory of Montessori individuals and schools associated with MEPI.
Level I represents those schools who are fully committed to the philosophy of MEPI, pay a $75 per level annual fee and fulfill the following criteria: 1) All student families are enrolled by the school as members of MEPI, 2) Nominates a representative from the school to the Board or committees, 3) Meet the standards required for a MEPI Internship Site.
Level II represents those schools that must be a valid MEPI Internship Site for the completion of a student teacher's internship and for whatever reason are unable to fulfill the requirements for Level I. The annual cost for a Level II school is $150 per level and they must meet the standards required by MEPI for an Internship Site.
Fees
To apply as a new Internship Site or Teacher Education Program, you will need to contact our office and request an application. You may pay online or mail a check or money order along with your application. Schools or programs wishing to renew their membership may also pay online or submit a payment along with their renewal applications to the business office.
To sign up for individual membership click the PayPal logo for your item; after paying, you will be able to enter your information in the signup form. To join and pay by check or money order, send $35 along with your name, address and email to MEPI at PO Box 2199, Gray GA 31032.

All fees are in US dollars.
* The fee increase for student certification applies to students beginning classes after September 1, 2004. Students enrolled in programs prior to that date will pay the previous fee of $150 per level.

- A copy of MEPI’s Self-study form.
- Materials discount.
- A framed statement of MEPI standards.
In addition to the benefits listed above, Level 1 schools receive:
- One free conference registration fee per 50 family members enrolled with MEPI.
- A 4-hour consultation or 4-hour state accredited* workshop once a year if requested
*Schools are responsible for obtaining the approval for continuing education credits through their local agencies. For more information, please contact the MEPI business office.
